tuttUnsanny:

I am now posting on a new blog:

http://thesmallrivers.blogspot.com

I don't have much time to post stuff anymore. My current plan is to start posting 1-2 times a week. I hope I can keep to it!

I liked many things about Wordpress, but I like the way I can customize the templates with blogger. I also like being able to embed videos in my posts.

Thanks for the kind comments.

Sure, the PO has the lowest rates, but do you know that service is not guaranteed?
You pay 44 cents for a PROMISE to deliver your letter.
So when your First Class mail gets lost, well, bummer...
I've been in the US only 7 years and have stories to tell. Mail lost, misdelivered, not delivered, returned as undeliverable for no reason.

All the other (more expensive) services are sort of competitive vs UPS and FedEX, but only because USPS sued them and prohibits them from sending anything else than really urgent or oversized items (which cost a lot anyway)
Do you know that you are breaking the law if you are sending something via UPS or FedEx when you could send it by USPS. Get ready for an audit from the United States Postal Inspection Service (like Amazon, Equifax)

As long as USPS is using federal law to leverage its position on the market, we will never know what the true cost of mail delivery is.

Howdy, Sir. This is Stephen from the Auburn philosophy days. Sorry for these roundabout means... whenever you get this (the blog looks somewhat deserted now), shoot me an email; I have a simple question for you. Take care. (Oh, and then delete this comment if possible, please.)

cobbmic,

Your statement: "Let me say that I am neither claiming that the Church is infallible, nor am I claiming that it is fallible; I am also not taking a stand on the truth or falsity of any of her dogmas."
This is a very important statement about yourself, which I can relate to whole heartedly. But, If you stand for nothing you "will" fall for anything. You are searching for the full truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. It is very frustrateing to know where it is and still not get straight answers. Most practicing catholics, including myself, do not know the fullness of the faith, though we may know that it is the one true faith. There is much to learn, the church is full of history (@2000 years). If it were easy most of the world would be Catholic Christians. Personally my knowlege of the truth, is an interior understanding which many times I can not put into words. It is only when I read, hear a homily or listen to a good speaker who is true to the Catholic faith that I am confirmed in my understanding, come to a better understanding or come to understanding at all. All the while in prayer and with a right heart according to my ability. Catholic appoligetics are good but it sounds like you need pure theology to learn the who, what, why, where, when and how's. You might have some luck with www.ewtn.com, that is a very true catholic resource. Know this, God is one and he does'nt change. He is today the way he was at the begining and will be tomorrow. He is the truth. So, be faithful in your search for the truth and be careful as not to go after your own vain misunderstanding and interpretations as so many have from the beginning. There is only one truth so; Seek, ask, knock. Always pray. The Truth is always in need of good teachers so learn up.

                                                  God Bless You All,
                                                                    Stephen

To All: Lets build up and not tear down. Lets be carefull what we say as well as how we say it because what is at stake here and everywhere are souls. When you comment do it with love and with the understanding that God came to us first and that under a different set of circumstances we could be much worse off and sometimes are and do not know it. Again, God Bless

"The North cause slavery in American to start with a greedy money making scheme."

Northern people went on ships traded material goods for the black slaves from tribal kings in African.
The Northern people wanted the African slaves to work in there factories it took to long for teaching and training them.

So the North came up with another bright idea because of all the money they had spend on purchasing of the African slaves.THE NORTH DID THE SELLING FIRST!
THE PRICE WAS TO EXPENSIVE TO TAKE THEM BACK TO AFRICA!

NORTHERN PEOPLE SOLD AFRICAN SLAVES TO THE SOUTHERN PEOPLE TO WORK IN THERE FIELDS.

WE HAVE BEEN CRITICIZED FOR THIS ACTION EVER SINCE!

THE NORTH WAS FIGHT THE CIVIL WAR TO FREE SLAVES.
OR SO THEY CLAIMED, THAT IS TRULY GENUINELY QUESTIONABLE TO ME.

SO WHO'S FAULT WAS IT REALLY THAT WE HAD SLAVERY IN AMERICAN? NORTH OR THE SOUTH.

WE SOUTHERN PEOPLE WERE FIGHTING THE CIVIL WAR FOR STATES RIGHTS! THE RIGHT TO GOVERN OUR ON STATE.

Abraham Lincoln was no hero he was totally a tomfool for killed his on people. A Bad judgment or ignorance on his part as a so called president ever did!
Abraham Lincoln declared war on the south!

THE CIVIL WAR WAS FOUGHT OVER MONEY FROM THE NORTH!THEY DID NOT WANT TO PAY A FAIR SHARE OF MONEY ON OUR FIELD GOODS!
NORTH WANT TO SET THERE ON MARKET PRICE!
THE SOUTH WAS NOT GOING TO STAND FOR IT!
